Easter Egg Hunt 2016

HVCA held their 2016 Easter Egg hunt on Sunday March 27th at Stonefield Park. For the second straight year the weather was fantastic. The turn out was the biggest in years with well over 50 children participating. Again over 250 eggs were hidden high and low throughout the park. There was also 4 special eggs hidden that won the finder a 4oz chocolate rabbit. I believe that everyone had a good time seeing the children having fun and giving the adults time to meet and socialize with neighbors new and old.

Organized by Carl Forbush, he wanted to give special thanks to Aaron Forbush and Dylan Pratt for their help in hiding eggs and Emily Rompage for the snacks and hot chocolate. We are looking forward to next year and will look to increase the egg count and continue the growing success of the event.

Easter Egg Hunt 2015

Hemingway Village Civic Association held their annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday at Stonefield Park at 11 AM. We had about 35 energetic, children searching the grounds high and low for the 250+ eggs hidden by the Easter bunny's trusted volunteers, led by Carl Forbush and his son Ryan. Strategically hidden were 5 shiny eggs that held special prizes.  The weather was fantastic and fun was had by all.

Thank you all who helped get things set up and thanks to all the parents that brought their children to participate.
